Mom – I want to be like you!

Published on May 11, 2014

Maa

(is Gujarati translation of Mother. Refer this page for knowing ‘Mother’ in different languages)

Cool rhythm of peace loving, satisfactory and rich waves flow into our hearts when this accent is spoken….

And not only me; most of you would want to be like your mom.

Motherhood is the best unique gift God has gifted to a women that makes her different; which inherits special responsibilities in her, which cultivates inscrutable maturities in her and develops potentially different strength into her in spite of being tender and gentle.

She has interrupted her nights for months to feed you, to change your diapers, to cover you and to monitor your health while you were having sweet sleeps with smiling dreams.

She has never missed a doctor’s visit for small silly illnesses but ignored her high temperature fevers and injuries many times.

She is strict sometimes because she wants to bring you success.

She is ruling you sometimes because she wants to see you ruling the world.

She is hiding her tears sometimes because she doesn’t want you to feel sad about her.

She is crying sometimes for a matter which you think is smaller because she is able to unriddle the longer consequences.

She is sometimes favoring you for a less valid reason in front of dad because she values your thoughts as well.

She wholeheartedly welcomes your friends because she knows that they are the part of your celebrations, sharings, happiness and sweet quarrels.

She educates you about choosing your career but gives complete freedom to choose on your own because she trusts your decisions.

She knows so many things more than you know but she still listens to your thoughts and experiences patiently and encouragingly.

She has never intended to be at front stage but happily, skillfully and successfully managed uncountable easier to complicated happenings all the time.

She is your best and oldest friend you are still in touch with.

She knows you more than anyone else knows you.

I had a dream last night – I am a little doll… playing with two colors named ‘mom’ and ‘dad’… I merged them two… the third shade appeared… I named it ‘God’.

I woke up all of a sudden and saw this posture on the wall in front of me…

P.S.: Mentioning mother in today’s post just doesn’t mean fathers do not play an important role in children’s life. I will share my thoughts on Dad’s preciousness here only sometime soon.
